Need to get a passport before summer but can't seem to sneak away from work to visit the Clerk of Court's Office? No worries! This weekend you can apply for one at the passport fair.

The Duval County Clerk of Courts will hold the passport fair on Saturday at the Duval County Courthouse located at 501 W Adams St.

The event will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will allow citizens interested in applying for a passport to do so outside the Clerk’s Office regular weekday business hours. No appointments are necessary and all area residents are invited to attend.

Street parking is free in downtown Jacksonville on the weekend and there is ample parking on the streets surrounding the Courthouse.

Since becoming a passport acceptance facility in 2016, the Clerk’s Office has processed over 22,000 applications at the Duval County Courthouse and the Clerk’s beaches branch in Neptune Beach.

“Ever since our office began processing passports, we have worked to make the experience as smooth as possible for our customers,” Clerk Ronnie Fussell said. “That is why we are happy to be able to offer this event on a weekend, so that people who may not be able to find the time during the week can still come and apply for a passport.”

For a list of the items needed to successfully apply for a passport, as well as the current fee information, please visit the Clerk’s Office online at duvalclerk.com/passports.
